Event Description
The annual planning retreat for UNC's Board of Trustees will be held at 8:30 a.m. Friday, Sept. 14, in Centennial Hall of Brown Hall, intersection of 9th Avenue and 19th Street.

Trustees will elect board officers, review the 2012-13 meeting schedule and discuss the university's multi-year strategic direction, which will include presentations on academics/enrollment, development/alumni, and marketing/communications. The board will take action on promotions and tenure of faculty, and a report of UNC's current student-fee practices required by the state.
