Event Description
The Center for the Enhancement of Teaching and Learning is pleased to invite participation in our Fall 2012 kick off event for the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (SoTL) at the University of Northern Colorado.

SoTL is a collegial forum focusing on faculty interests with regards to strengthening teaching and learning at UNC. SoTL provides faculty and instructors with the opportunity to critically reflect upon and explore teaching and classroom inquiry within their own courses and to investigate current pedagogical approaches and issues relevant to students’ learning and campus culture.
SoTL welcomes returning and new participants whatever your experience and interests to join us for lunch. Lunch will be provided for those who RSVP by noon on Wednesday, Oct. 3.

This meeting, which will be co-facilitated by Teaching and Learning Fellow, Dr. Robert Reinsvold and Assoc. Director for Faculty Development, Dr. Deborah Romero, will review prior SoTL initiatives; explore new avenues and ways to support participants’ conceptualization and development of SoTL at UNC, and discuss options for dissemination and participation of SoTL at local or national levels.
