Event Description
Today is the deadline to RSVP for the Nov. 14 free premiere of "Urban Rez," a 60-minute Rocky Mountain PBS documentary that explores the history and modern-day effects of 1950s policies that encouraged American Indians to leave their homelands to relocate to urban areas. UNC students and staff from Native American Student Services were interviewed, and a film crew also followed NASS on its annual buffalo hunt on the Crow Indian Reservation in Montana.
