Event Description
This year, the English Department and Michener Libraries seek to revitalize the "Let's Talk About It" Jewish book group. This non-sectarian group will renew its chats beginning with the topic "Jewish Conversation over Three Millennia." Through texts we read together, our group will trace the Jewish conversation and culture not only across time and space but through the peaks and valleys that have defined the Jewish experience. We begin our study with the Book of Isaiah, which we examine as a cultural text and will continue to meet the first Tuesday of every month. For a current reading list, check out the URL. |
