Grant Writing without Grief for the Humanities & Social Sciences, the Arts, and Education

Event Description:
The Office of Sponsored Programs will host a grant writing workshop designed to help faculty members increase the competitiveness of their proposals for projects in the humanities and social sciences, the arts, and education. Participants should have some understanding of grant seeking, but want to acquire the skills to develop successful, consistently funded proposals.

The Grant Writing without Grief workshop will be presented by Dr. Lynn Miner of Miner and Associates who will cover topics such as creating successful proposal components, persuasive proposal narratives, resubmitting previously declined proposals, and building a successful grant writing team.

Registration is required by emailing Arlene Hansen ( that you wish to attend the Grant Writing without Grief Workshop and that you will attend for the full day.
