Event Description:
Charles Fay, co-developer of the "Love and Logic" method of discipline and a consultant to schools parent groups and mental health professionals throughout the United States, will present about the method. The lecture is designed for teacher candidates but is free and open to the public. Seating is limited so early arrival is encouraged.

Topics will include:
  • The two rules of Love and Logic
  • Delayed or "anticipatory" consequences
  • Using empathy, and Love and Logic one-liners to neutralize arguing
  • Reducing nasty behavior in the classroom, cafeteria, and playground
