Community Conversation: Creativity for a Healthy & Balanced Life

Event Description
Join the UNC Alumni Association and the College of Performing and Visual Arts for this presentation by Arts Education and Art History Professor Connie Stewart, Ph.D., from UNC's School of Art & Design, who will kick-off a conversation about incorporating the arts into our everyday activities.

As Executive Director of The Center for Integrated Arts Education, Dr. Stewart promotes arts education and the integration of arts within Colorado public schools' curriculum. Dr. Stewart will discuss why arts are essential to a healthy and balanced lifestyle, including examples of how to include art in your life.

Attendees are invited to participate in the open discussion where questions will be answered, and examples and resources on utilizing the creative process will be shared.

Cost is $5.00 for alumni and friends. Light refreshments will be served. register by March 7, 2014. Space is limited and this event is anticipated to sell out quickly.
